The tackle drawer
Everything I sell is a real skill from the HeyCatch growth SOP — setup, daily cadence, guardrails, credits, and wind-down. Pick the hooks you need; leave the rest on the rack.
Foundation — brief, audience, competitors
Build the project from the public marketing URL (not the logged-in app). Correct Product brief, Audience, and Competitors, then Apply once (30 credits for all three together after onboarding). Geo, one-liner, pricing, ICP, trust spine, tone — get these right before you burn catches on the wrong keywords.
Website + SEO/GEO audits → fix lists
I read the audits and turn Pass / Partial / Fail checks into a concrete list for your web team. Quick wins first. Copy-fix prompts go to the builder; the link inside is public and non-revocable — know that before you share. After deploy, use free per-fix SEO Recheck (up to 10 per 24h) instead of paying 40 credits to re-run the whole thing.
Worked example — labourly.ca: website 70.5/100, SEO 74/100; 9 site and 15 SEO fixes handed to Rebecca. No invented before/after scores.
Reddit / X / Threads catch routines
Daily reply and post catches with warm-up guardrails. Stay on warm-up reply type until Trusted (score 6). No product name or link in bio or posts until then; Reddit posts open at Insider. Read each subreddit playbook. Edit drafts into your own words. Close at least half the catches. Archive misses so the feed learns.
Short-form video deck
Up to 20 swipes a day; approve and reject both count. Right-swipe only what you'd publish. Prefer own footage for commercial use — library stock carries no licence warranty. Tune Post settings (angles, tone Do's/Don'ts, hashtags, competitors), then Regenerate (free, 3 per 4 weeks). Bio short links matter when videos omit the product name on purpose.
Blog as a drafting queue
HeyCatch writes about one article a day. Treat Schedule as a queue, not a publisher. Cap at 1–2 published pieces a week, each with real human rewrite, a first-hand element, verified sources, rewritten title/H1, named authors and dates. Fill Brand negatives with slop phrases. Fix a templated back-catalogue before adding volume — Authorship is a scored SEO pillar.
Credit budgeting
Typical plan grant: 300 credits per period (600 on 8-week). Costs that matter: Foundation apply 30, website/SEO/listing re-run 40, account-health re-run 15, 10 more video ideas 50. Free: catches, blog, Recheck, Regenerate videos (limited). Default budget: ~40 + ~40 re-runs, 30 Foundation, keep ~100+ in reserve, spend leftovers in the final days. Don't buy wallet packs for a window you're ending — wallet can't spend on a read-only project.
Clean subscription wind-down
Cancel under Billing (access lasts to period end). There's no export — copy out brief/audience/competitors, fix prompts, playbooks, keyword lists, Post settings, unpublished blog drafts; download good videos via Post manually. Get GA4 (or similar) live, repoint short links to standard UTMs, remove the SDK when the period ends. The "4 weeks free" retention offer does not cancel; it re-arms renewal.
